Trying to get my head around all this new technology ….. Makes me sound old, but I guess I have a wee problem with change.
I mean, I like technology, and I seem to get along with it mostly, but it takes me quite a while to get used to anything new.
Facebook took me a while to get onto, let alone figure out, and yet everyone does Facebook, hahaha.
Microsoft Office took me ages to become friends with, but now we’re inseparable.
And now, I’ve been given a new toy to play with called Diigo. I call it a toy as I need to play with it quite a bit before I will fully understand it and feel comfortable with it.
Next, I then have to work out this thing called Feedly. Funnily enough, I have started a blog before, nothing fancy, and certainly not too many readers or fans from what I can tell. However, when I saw the funny little RSS symbol, I didn’t know what it was, and so avoided it, as it was unknown. Guess I’m going to have to get used to that now too, haha.
I must admit, I’m not sure I like the look of Diigo so far. I’ve used Pinterest, and Learnist, which are similar ways of collecting great snippets of information, and then sharing them. But Diigo doesn’t have the aesthetics that some others have, so I’m feeling like I’m in a foreign country at the moment.
I think I need to play some more.
